The idea of putting water droplets on my guitar strings popped up into my mind two hours ago ^^ That's my new guitar, ESP Eclipse Once again, the technique I used was reversing my lens in front of my camera body (that's why you will find the mention Aperture /inf on the exif informations) The droplets were placed using a pipette I tried without succes to place those droplets one the smaller strings but indeed, smaller strings contains the word small, and it could not support the drops' weight
This is my entry to the Contest : Beauty in Everyday Objects Learn more Here Wish me good luck Enjoy.
Actually...I was too excited about putting it up that i couldnt wait...i had to find a pic that i could use a download in...HOWEVER!!!! I plan on using the same guitar samples that i used in this song in another song, SOOOOOOO i would LOVE to use this pic when i make the next one!....sorry if you're a bit disappointed ... Honestly though, i love this pic! If youd still like to hear, Here is the song: [link] The guitar sample im referring to is the one heard constantly throughout the entire piece. If you could, leave a comment with a link to your picture so I'll remember! I have terrible memory X3
maybe because this is adapted from a song title I do that with all my photographs this one was named with a Jean Sebastien Bach (french composer, I guess he's well known abroad, but I don't know) called Air On A G-String I think it's quite famous through ads on TV : [link]
maybe I should have adapted the title even more and call my piece Water on a E string ^^
I like your entry very much. And using the reverse-lens method is not very easy - so kudos to you. I like your use of lines (guitar strings), and I love that bit of red colour creeping in the top corner. The bokeh is great too.
you'll never guess what this red mass in the corner is I wanted to obtain nice and colored bokeh so I placed my guitar right in front of my laptop with a colorful page open it seems like it's not as colorful as I expected because the flashlight absorbed all the background light but I'm glad you like it this way thanks
